Towards 4000 Hearts!

Our vision is to see 4000 young people reached every week through our schools ministries and Summer Missions. That is why we partner with as many churches as possible to work in secondary schools from inner-city Melbourne to remote areas of the Northern Territory. It is this vision that drives us to set up new programs in schools where no church is working. We pray that our interns and schools workers catch hold of this vision as they connect with individual students in secondary schools each lunch-time, as they get to know the faces and names of the 4000 hearts. We are thankful for our Summer Mission volunteers who give up their holidays to reach out in country towns and holiday locations across Australia.

We are reaching around 2500 young people each week and so the reality of 4000 can seem a long way off. Yet we believe that it is the Lord who has placed this vision on our heart and we are deeply aware that unless the Lord builds the house the builders labour in vain. We remember the times in the past that the Lord has enabled the ‘impossible’ to happen. We look towards 4000 hearts a week.
