Uncertainties in life can lay at every turn. Will I get that promotion? Will I land that new job? Is this a person I should spend the rest of my life with? Will my children ever love Jesus? Will that family member ever move past that issue they are facing? Will that pain ever cease? We all face seasons in our lives that feel very uncertain. As I write this we are currently in another lockdown and in a pool of uncertainty due to Covid 19. The last few months I have been, along with our outreach team putting together teams to send out this winter for Mid Moose. This lockdown has made it feel very uncertain as to what will happen. In times of uncertainty, there is only one thing we can be certain of, and that is God‘s goodness. God is good when our plans don’t go to plan. God is good when we don’t land that new job when relationships fall apart and even when we don’t receive the healing we have been praying for. He is good regardless of our circumstances. He is good because of who He is and what He has done. I am praying and hoping that we are able to still run Mid Moose this winter, but I am also trusting that in the event that our plans do not go to plan that God is bigger and he knows what he is doing for we don’t know what tomorrow holds but we know who holds tomorrow. So let’s not give up praying for the miracles that we seek, but let’s not lose heart in trusting God in uncertain times!
