Lighthouse Christian College Gravitate Enrolment, Subsidy and Participation Agreement

By selecting Lighthouse Christian College during the Gravitate registration process and ticking the acknowledgement box below, I confirm that I have read, understood and agreed to the following conditions.

I understand that Lighthouse Christian College may subsidise a portion of the Gravitate course fees and/or related costs on behalf of eligible students. This subsidy may include, but is not limited to, course fees, camp costs, activity costs, administration costs, provider charges, transport costs, or other costs connected with the student's participation in the Gravitate program.

I understand that the subsidy arrangement is conditional and may be applied progressively, deducted over time, or managed in accordance with the College's internal processes and the requirements of the course provider. I acknowledge that the family/student may still be responsible for a portion of the overall cost, and that any deductions, charges, payment arrangements, or reimbursement requirements connected with the course are part of the agreed conditions of enrolment.

I understand that Lighthouse Christian College's contribution toward the cost of Gravitate is provided on the basis that the student will fully and appropriately participate in the course. This includes, but is not limited to:

attending required classes, sessions, camps, excursions, activities and course-related events
completing required coursework, assessments and practical requirements
making a genuine effort to successfully complete and pass the course
following all instructions given by Lighthouse Christian College staff, Youth Dimension staff, camp staff, activity providers and any other authorised supervisors
complying with all College rules, provider expectations, safety requirements and behavioural standards
acting in a way that does not place themselves, others, the College, Youth Dimension, the course provider, or the program at risk

I understand that if the student withdraws from the course, fails to complete the course, does not pass the course, does not attend required camps or compulsory activities, is removed from the course or any course-related event, or becomes unable to continue due to attendance concerns, behaviour concerns, non-compliance, misconduct, safety concerns, or failure to meet course expectations, the family may be required to reimburse Lighthouse Christian College for some or all of the amounts paid, subsidised, committed, or incurred by the College in relation to the student's enrolment.

This may include, but is not limited to, course fees, subsidised amounts, camp costs, cancellation fees, provider charges, administration costs, transport costs, activity fees, accommodation costs, or any other reasonable costs incurred by Lighthouse Christian College as a result of the student's enrolment, withdrawal, non-attendance, non-completion, non-compliance, or removal from the course.

I understand that any reimbursement amount will be determined by Lighthouse Christian College, acting reasonably, having regard to the circumstances, the amounts already paid or committed by the College, the requirements of Youth Dimension and/or the course provider, and any costs that cannot be recovered by the College.

I understand that students participating in Gravitate must not bring, possess, use, distribute, or be involved with any prohibited, illicit, unsafe, or inappropriate items or substances. This includes, but is not limited to, alcohol, drugs, vapes, weapons, dangerous items, or any item that may breach College rules, provider rules, camp rules, or the law. Any breach may result in disciplinary action, removal from the camp, activity, course, or program, and may also result in the family being required to reimburse Lighthouse Christian College for related costs.

I confirm that these conditions have been discussed with the student's parent/guardian before registration. I acknowledge that by ticking the box below, the student and parent/guardian accept the financial, attendance, behavioural, camp, safety, course-completion and reimbursement conditions connected with participation in Gravitate through Lighthouse Christian College.

I understand that Lighthouse Christian College reserves the right to determine whether the conditions of this agreement have been met and whether reimbursement, fee recovery, removal from the program, or further action is required, subject to applicable laws, College policies, provider requirements, and the specific circumstances of the matter.
